Minimalist Card

When I first saw the Just Add Ink Challenge this week, I was intrigued. What is the difference between a CAS card and a Minimalist Card. So, off to Google I go, looking up minimalist art. What I discovered is that minimalist art contains repetition, lines, geometric shapes.

So, this is the design I came up with. I created a 4″ square card with Soft Sea Foam vertical and horizontal lines, with diagonal smoky slate and soft sea form lines. Finally the card is finished with a Calypso Coral circle stamped with the sentiment.

Instead of a white card insert, the card interior is also soft sea foam green.

Hope you enjoyed my take on minimalist design. If it inspired you, I would like to see your minimalist designs as well.
