Flutter through the Flowers

Did you know dragonflies flutter? I knew butterflies fluttered, but I wanted to find out the terminology for a dragonflies movement so I googled it. What I found was that some species of dragonflies are even called flutterers. So, it was perfectly appropriate for me to name this card Flutter through the Flowers.

Have you seen any flutterers near your flowers? My flowers are blooming gorgeously right now, but I can’t say I have seen any butterflies or dragonflies lately. I’ll definitely have to keep a look out.

This card features four of the five new 2022-2024 In Colors from Stampin’ Up!. The card base is Orchid Oasis. You can find that color in some of the flowers, the butterfly, and dragonflies as well. Tahitian Tide is the other color I used to add color to the flowers, butterfly, and dragonfly. Parakeet Party added color to the leaves and is the color of cardstock used as a layer on this card front. Finally, Starry Sky is the ink color I used for the sentiment on the card front.

I hope you can see dragonflies and butterflies fluttering in the flowers in your yard or neighborhood. If you can’t see them fluttering in real life, I hope you enjoy them fluttering on this card.
