Go Green
When you think of green, what comes to mind? What makes you want to go green?
- The Environment
- Recycling
- Nature
- Plants
- Trees
- Grass
- Mold
- Four Leaf Clovers
- Money
- Envy
- New
- The Incredible Hulk
- Oscar the Grouch
- The Grinch
- Mr. Green Jeans from Captain Kangaroo
- Leprechauns
- St. Patrick’s Day
When I decided to go green, I chose a St. Patrick’s Day card. What will you choose?
Card Details
The St. Patrick’s Day card starts with green.
- Soft Sea Foam green card base
- Shaded Spruce green patterned paper
- Shaded Spruce green Lucky Clover punch
- Shaded Spruce green ink
- Shaded Spruce green and gold ribbon
The addition of gold adds the right amount of bling to this St. Patrick’s Day.
Want to add even more fun to your St. Patrick’s Day? Add a coordinating cardstock snake.
Take 1″ x 11″ strips of two different colors of cardstock, glue them together to make a t-frame shape and fold them over each other. Glue more strips on each color to make the snake as long as you want. This snake took 5 strips of each color. Add the snake head to the end. This snake uses a four-leaf clover punch for the head. And I used retired googly eyes to make it even more fun.

Fabulous card Angel!! I love all the different shades of green and those subtle pops of other colours coming through those cute ditsy flowers on the patterned paper. I’m feeling super inspired for some St. Patricks Day crafting now! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CC&S 🙂
What a cute combo Angel! I love the detail on your clover card – the sequins and DSP compliment that large clover perfectly! Thanks for playing along with our current sketch challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches!
Your caterpillar is way too adorable that definitely showcases your adaptive crafting.
