Angel Among the Stars

One of my favorite things about Christmastime is that angels are everywhere. They are featured in decorations, songs, movies, and are a big part of the Christmas story. It probably comes as no surprise to any of you that I collect angels and they are a big part of my life year round. But, I love the fact that at Christmastime they are everywhere and I get to share them with all of you.

I am a little particular about the angels I collect, however and I’ve been waiting since I became a Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrator for an angel stamp that I would love to make part of my collection. Well, here it is. I’ve really had a lot of fun creating with this stamp set.

The angel is shining in the night sky with a multitude of copper stars. I used the technique of stamping the same image with the Stamparatus in several colors in exactly the same place and then using the blender pen to pull the color out into the angel’s dress. I did color her hair and skin with Stampin’ Blends and add some Silver Ink to her wings with the blender pen.
