Animal Band

When you think about birthday celebrations does the thought of an animal band come to mind? That’s one of your options on the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper. There is one pattern where the animals are all enjoying music.

Did you enjoy Show Biz Pizza with the Rock afire Explosion band? That was a highlight of my childhood. What could be better than an animatronic band of singing animals? (plus pizza and arcade games, of course)

Maybe Chuck E Cheese was more your style?

Do you have any fun memories of celebrating birthdays with a singing animal band?

Copper Clay cardstock card with gray layer embossed with music. Two strips of cardstock with black dots on right side colored with blending brushes--one blue and one mauve. Band of fussy cut animals are performing on top layer. Circle sentiment says "Happy Birthday to You."

Does the thought of combining the new in colors stress you out? Does your creativity freeze when trying to figure out how to put them together? I want to help you turn your crafting stress into success.

Start by holding up the colors next to each other and choose your cardbase and top layer colors. Then, choose two for accent colors and use a blending brush to add color to black and white Designer Series Paper. You have now used 4 of the 5 colors. Use the final color to stamp your sentiment.

Inside of card with strip of gray music embossed cardstock on right side of card interior. There is also a paper image of a wild hog playing a bango.

All the different band animals got fussy cut from the patterned paper, but only four were used on the front. The bango playing wild hog got to decorate the inside of the card.

Which of those animals is your favorite? I love the flute playing frog. 🙂
