Autumn Leaves

What says fall to you? When do you think fall has arrived? For me, it’s when the autumn leaves start changing colors.

Sometimes, fall can be a little sneaky–popping out for a day or two and then retreating again while the sweltering heat lets us know summer is not yet over. Then, days later, the temperatures drop for at least a day or two getting our hopes up yet once again.

But, when the trees start changing colors, it signifies that summer is over and fall is here to stay. Hopefully we get a least a few weeks of fall. Taking walks while admiring the changing leaves is an amazing way to relax and enjoy nature.

My last walk showed trees starting to get bare already and lose their leaves before having a chance to show off their brilliant autumn hues.

Let’s keep cool autumn temperatures with leaves turning colors while staying on the trees for at least a few more weeks. It’s not time for bare trees and freezing temperatures yet.
