Basket of Snowflakes

Do you ever watch the snow fall and wish you could preserve it forever–or at least more than a few minutes? Have you ever made a small snowman or snowball and kept it in the freezer? Do you think a basket of snowflakes would survive?

Individual Snowflakes

Probably my favorite thing about snowflakes is the unique beauty as individual flakes. I very rarely get to see them one at a time, but when I do, I can’t help but notice their beauty. My breath is taken away every time.

That’s the same with us. We might get all lumped together in one basket, but the individuality and uniqueness of each of us as individuals is what makes us special. Our individuality will take your breath away.

Basket of Snowflakes

At the same time, one individual snowflake cannot create a snowman or snowball by themselves. They all must work together to make that happen. Maybe that’s why we collect a basket of snowflakes.

Each individual snowflake is beautiful, unique, and special on it’s own. But to truly have fun with the snow and create something to share with others, you need more than one snowflake. The more you have working together, the more fun you can have. The longer the snowball fight or the bigger the snowman or snow fort.

Do you think we could learn a lesson from the snowflakes? Each of us is unique and beautiful on our own. But, its when we work together that we all end up having more fun.

Card Details

This is the third Thursday of the month. So, it is time for a Christmas card made with the featured stamp set of the month. I decided to break into my collection of die cut snowflakes I have been saving and create a flurry of snowflakes falling from the sky and into the die cut basket.

Inside of card with Christmas sentiment and three snowflakes at bottom of card.

They sparkle because they are diecut from retired Diamond Glimmer Paper. Extra sparkle was added with Irridescent Rhinestones.

Sparkle like this basket of snowflakes. Let your individuality shine and sparkle and take my breath away. But, also work together to create productivity and fun.
