Bee Merry Christmas Card

Puns are among my favorite of literary devices. Here’s another card showcasing the use of a pun. Only for this one, the sentiments from two different stamp sets are combined to create “bee merry” with the punch art bee. The Bee My Valentine bundle was used to create a bee merry Christmas card.

It just goes to show that you can create a humorous card using the bee punch and combining the “bee” part of the sentiment stamp for any sentiment that usually starts with “be.”

Do you want to create a Christmas card but don’t have the Christmas themed stamps you want? Pick your favorite stamp set and use it to make a Christmas card. I want to help you turn your crafting stress into success.

It is not always easy to think of a Christmas card with every stamp set. Some are definitely harder than others. With a stamp set featuring valentines, bees, and flowers, nothing immediately jumped out at me. But, put a santa hat on any character and you instantly have a Christmas card. 😉

The only Santa hat stamp that was available to me at the time I created this card was from the So Very Merry stamp set. First, stamp the Santa image on Sweet Sorbet and Basic White cardstock. Then, fussy cut the hat from the Sweet Sorbet and the pom-pom from the Basic White cardstock. Next, glue the pom-pom onto the Sweet Sorbet hat. Finally, attach the Santa hat to the bee punch.

Add a Christmas sentiment and you have a Christmas card.
