Hope for Ukraine

As I hear about the war and terror that the people of Ukraine are experiencing right now, I am heartbroken. They are in my thoughts and prayers. But that just doesn’t seem like enough. Even donating money doesn’t seem like enough.

But, it is what I can do. Know that all over the world there are people thinking about you and praying for you.

And, one other thing I can do is create a card with you in mind. Today’s card was inspired by a short I got from Love in Faith that was made specifically for the situation in Ukraine.

I used the inspiration of the shirt for the card. The sunflowers are the focal point of the card and were stamped using the masking technique. A watercolor wash was then painted over them in the colors of the Ukrainian flag–blue and yellow.

The inside of the card has even more sunflowers with a card from the Flowers for Every Season Memories and More kit.
