Blackberry Beauty Gatefold Birthday

For this Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge, we are creating fun fold cards. I chose to create a gatefold card using Blackberry Bliss cardstock with Blackberry Beauty DSP. I chose to use the three panels on the front of the card. I don’t know if there is a special name for the type of gatefold card. If you know, please leave me a comment.

The gold on this DSP adds just another level of elegance. I wanted to emphasize it even more, so I added a gold heat embossed sentiment along with metallic pearls.

Even the inside of the card has touches of the gold elegance with the DSP used as the inside layer.

Do you ever have a problem sending birthday cards on time? I know I do. In fact, I might make you a card in plenty of time for your birthday, but getting it mailed on time? That’s another story. Of course, there are also the times I find myself creating belated birthday cards because I didn’t even get the card started on time. Well, I must not be the only one.
