Designing with Patterned Paper
One of my favorite things to do while papercrafting is designing with patterned paper. Every time a new Stampin’ Up! catalog is released, I immediately look at what new patterned papers are available.
Stampin’ Up! makes it so easy to create gorgeous projects. The Designer Series Paper colors always meld together so perfectly. Every product with the same Stampin’ Up! color name matches exactly. You know if there is a green in the paper (i.e. Soft Sea Foam), cardstock, ink, embellishments with that same color are going to match the project exactly.
Card Details
Elements from the Hello Irresistible Suite were used to create this card. Not only can you be sure that products with the same Stampin’ Up! color will match exactly, all products from a Suite are meant to coordinate together and create gorgeous products.
The concept for this card began with the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper pack. I lay different patterns from the same paper pack side by side until the patterns were chosen for this card. Then, I picked a cardstock base was based on the colors used. Next, I created the focal image and a stamped the sentiment in black ink. Finally, Loose Frosted Dots were added for the finishing touch.
