Color Inspiration

The color inspiration challenge from Stampin’ Up!® Only Challenges inspired the creation of today’s card. The inspiration picture shows beautiful Christmas trees in a variety of colors.

Typically, I find myself not only inspired by the colors, but also by the theme of the photo. This inspiration photo is Christmas themed. But, I’m trying really hard right now to keep a tight hold on fall and Thanksgiving, so I created a gratitude card.

I know it is time to make Christmas cards. And, I have been doing that. Let’s not lose Thanksgiving in the shuffle of the Christmas season. Of course, gratitude and thankfulness really should be more than one day or even one month.

Let’s be thankful year round.

Card Details

I was instantly drawn to this sunflower patterned paper from the Splendid Autumn DSP pack. That one paper contained so many of the inspiration colors. It just needed a pop of pink.

So, the addition of Strawberry Slush added just the right amount. I hope you enjoy these colors on a gratitude card.
