Strong of Heart

Yesterday was Stampin’ Up!’s day of service. I apologize that I did not get this information out to you in time for you to participate in the day of service. But, there is no reason you can’t pick a different day to give of your time, energy, etc. The stamp set I used for today’s card is Stampin’ Up!’s product giveback right now. Each Strong of Heart Stamp Set purchased $3 will be donated to a Heart Health organization

Our Stampin’ Up! Day of Service will be held on Thursday, 16 September. This year, we’ll be focusing on heart health in alignment with our product giveback, the Strong of Heart Stamp Set.

We are so excited to invite demonstrators to join us in making a difference! There are many different ways to participate and benefit your local communities. Demonstrators can support local causes they’re passionate about, or they can join us in focusing on heart health education, resources, and support. Some of the ways you can contribute to this cause no matter where you’re located are:

  • Blood donation
  • CPR training
  • Donating needed items to a local hospital
  • Engaging your community in a heart-healthy wellness activity
  • Donating or sending encouraging cards to healthcare workers

The Blushing Bride rectangle behind the heart was created using a watercolor brush to create a rectangle on watercolor paper. The pictures don’t do it justice, but I added some Wink of Stella to the small hearts to add a bit of shine.

It may not be Stampin’ Up!’s day of service, but that doesn’t keep you from serving. Find a place to give blood, get CPR certified, or make and send cards to those who could use a little heart strengthening–either physical or emotional, mental, or spiritual.

Make sure you head over to PP558 and CAS Colours & Sketches #437 to see the inspiration cards from the design teams and other creative entries.
