Combining Old and New

One of my favorite things to do when a new catalog arrives is create cards that combine the new products with the old. I love to see how I am going to be using what is new with what I have currently. This card is an example of that. The Healing Hugs stamp set and Rococo Rose Cardstock and Ink are sticking around. The In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder are the new products used on this card.

I think they look great together and I’m always thrilled when I find old and new that work well together.

I had thought I was creating this card for this week’s Global Design Project and although I had it created yesterday before I went to sleep, I did not post it until today and was too late–the challenge had already closed. I’ll have to do a better job with my time zone converter and make sure I know what actual time I need to have cards entered into challenges.
