Elegant Celebration
What makes an elegant celebration for you? Do you think it requires a black tie affair with formal wear and very expensive food and drink? Or is it more about the location and/or decorations? Or is it about the people who are there with you?
I think for me, it’s any of the above. If formal wear is required, I would definitely consider it an elegant celebration. Same with fancy decorations, location, or food and drink.
But, someone taking the time and effort to change the everyday atmosphere of any location–including my home could create an elegant celebration. Celebration implies celebrating someone or something.
- A party, gala, festival, etc. with lots of guests
- A private celebration of a birthday, anniversary, or really any event with only a small group of family and friends
- Even a two person elegant celebration of that relationship
What makes a celebration for you?
Card Details
The third week of the month means a Christmas card with the featured stamp set of the month. This month was a challenge trying to figure out how to make a Christmas card with a fall harvest stamp set.
This pumpkin is all dressed up for Christmas. The pumpkin was stamped on white paper and dressed up with lots of pearls. There was even Wink of Stella added to the stem to add a little something extra.
This whole card is full of sparkle and shine. The well-dressed pumpkin fits right in with the card’s black, white, and silver elegant look. Then open the card to see a pop of color. 🙂
