Finding Peace

Peace is something I think is in short supply right now. At least for me. When I look up the word peace, I find this definition:
“freedom from disturbance; tranquility.” How do you go about finding peace or tranquility?

I equate peace with quiet–both noise and movement. Peace = Quiet = stillness

Ways I Am Finding Peace

• Pause for a moment–even one minute
• Spend time in nature
• Be in the moment–look people in the eye and focus on them when you talk to them
• Cuddle with pets and children
• Turn off media
• Read
• Pray
• Begin and end each day talking to God

Card Details

Green and gold says Christmas. Green and gold says elegance. The cardstock chosen for this card is Evergreen Elegance. The Metallic & Shimmer Designer Series Paper chosen for this card is also evening evergreen with gold sparkles.

More gold was added to the card framing the patterned paper. The Holy Family was heat embossed with gold embossing powder and gold metallic pearls were added for an extra touch of gold bling.

There is also a strip of gold foil on the inside of the card.
