Fall Cards for Paper Craft Crew

Fall has arrived. (Well, not according the calendar, but according to the temperature and weather forecast.) The weather has cooled down dramtically. I even have the windows open and fresh air flowing through the house. My spirits are definitely lifted today.

I am ready to capture this fall feeling and create fall cards today. And, the Paper Craft Crew extended last week’s challenge an additional week as well as starting a new one for this week, so I got to make TWO fall cards for the Paper Craft Crew this week.

Using the Beautiful Autumn stamp set and the Stamparatus, I created rows of fall natural elements usint the step/hinge techniue. The tag is an elongated version of the Everyday Label punch created by stamping each end of the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper and finished with a Mint Macaron stamped cardstock with flag ends and Gilded Gems for last week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge.

The Paper Craft Crew challenge for this week inspired my second fall card of the day. I chose to CAS(E) Chris Smith. It was inspiring to see both her original card and her CAS(E)d version of the same design. Here is Chris’s card I CASEd.

I used the same dimensionals for cardstock pieces. My card used a Thick Very Vanilla card base, with Cajun Craze maple leaves, Cinnamon Cider card front layer embossed with the Meadow Moments Embossing folder, and Braided Linen Trim at the edge of the card front layer.

Fall is my favorite season and products for the fall season are my absolute favorite things to play with when creating. What about you? What is your favorite season? If it is also fall/autumn, what do you most like to create? Halloween, Thanksgiving, Pumpkins, Leaves, Other Fall elements?

Whatever your favorite fall items, you are in luck. You definitely want to get your hands on the September Paper Pumpkin Kit: Hello Pumpkin!

  • Kit contains enough supplies to create 20 cracker box treat packages.
  • Each cracker box treat package can be customized to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, the autumn season, or all three!
