Fan of Flower Stamps
Are you a fan of flower stamps? I have to admit, I am not. I don’t naturally navigate toward the floral stamps in a new catalog. These, however are turning me into a flower stamp person. They are so delicate with such dimension with only one inked stamp, they are winning me over.
These stamped flowers just leave me wanting to play more. The coordinating dies are just as fun to play with–especially with vellum to continue the translucent look. And, now, the new Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper coordinates perfectly and makes me want to create even more.
What is your favorite flower? What flowers are you drawn to?
My Favorite Flowers
- Snapdragons
- Roses
- Sunflowers
None of the above flowers are in this stamp set or on the patterned paper. But these look so delicate, like I could break one if I’m not super careful. They have captured my heart.
Card Details
Do you ever want a lighter, more delicate look to your stamping? I want to turn your crafting stress into success. Try the stamp off technique.
I used the stamp off technique with both circle of floral images on this card. For the larger flower circle, I stamped once on my grid paper before stamping a second time on the white cardstock. The cluster of flowers in the smaller circle used both first and second stamped floral images in the same cluster.
It’s amazing the difference in ink depth produced using the stamp off method.

There are so many amazing floral images in the Delightful Floral DSP that you can fussy cut and use as individual flowers for your card as well. The flowers on this version of the card were fussy cut from the patterned paper, not stamped.
Which do you like better? Stamped flowers or one cut from the paper? Which would you choose to use when creating?
