Friendly Flowers

If you’re struggling, feeling down, or having a bad day, what can help you feel a bit better? How about some friendly flowers either live or in card form? Maybe words from a friend. Or even big hugs.

CAS(E)ing Leilani’s Card

Black card with gold foil layer and white top layer embossd with sunflowers. Yellow added to sunflower petals. Sentiment three layer flag says, "Just for you". Gold sequins finish the card.

Emboss using the same Sunflower 3D embossing folder.
Instead of adding yellow to the flowers, I embossed a sheet of yellow cardstock and then swiped the Cajun Craze Classic Stampin’ Pad over it to add color.
Then, a three layer die was used for the sentiment label.
Next, a layer of metallic foil was added both behind the embossed sunflowers layer and behind the sentiment.
Finally, the card was finished with metallic embellishments

My favorite embellishment to use on my cards is any dot that coordinates with the colors of the card. Right now, the Adhesive-Backed metallic Gems are what I use most. They are perfect for masculine, feminine, or gender neutral cards. And, metallic shine is a perfect way to add bling to a card.
