Gratitude and Grace

What are you planning as 2020 draws ever closer?

I don’t generally make New Year’s resolutions, but I do choose a focus word for the year. For the past few years, I’ve been frequently choosing either Gratitude or Grace. Seems like those are two words that take more than one year of focus, at least for me. 🙂 This year I decided to choose both as my focus words.

Ironically, after I made that choice, I’ve been finding them together in the books I’ve chosen to begin my year. I chose to read the One Thousand Gifts Devotional by Ann Voskamp thinking I was choosing to focus on gratitude with that book. But, the subtitle is Reflections on Finding Everyday Graces and each chapter has a title related to Grace.

As part of my creative expression this year, I will be doing some illustrated journaling using stamps and other forms of creative expression. I found a book a plan to use for part of that and it is titled 100 days of Grace & Gratitude by Shanna Noel.

I’m excited to focus on grace and gratitude together this year and share what I am learning with all of you.
