Halloween 2020–Scared Yet?

Happy Black Cat Day and Happy Pumpkin Day yesterday. 🙂 I decided to make a card incorporating those two Holidays because it just seems like the right time to do it.

I had originally thought about putting the witches hat on the cat’s head, but it is just too big for that to work. So, instead I created a Halloween scene with the cat, pumpkin, and hat. The cat is diligently guarding the hat until the witch returns.

You may not consider this a scarey Halloween card. I’m not really into a lot of blood and gore and some people think that’s what it takes to make something scarey. Some people are afraid of black cats or witches, both of which are represented on this card. But to me, the scariest part of this card is that it is for Halloween 2020. 2020 has been quite the year full of change and unpredictability. I don’t really want to see what Halloween 2020 has in store for all of us.
