Homemade Treats on a Homemade Card
I have always believed that homemade cards are happy mail and one of the reasons I make homemade cards in to spread joy.
But, I have never been a big believer in homemade food. I take that back. I love to eat homemade food and am greatly appreciative of those who prepare it, but I’ve never loved to actually prepare homemade food myself. I’ve always wanted fast and easy preparation or let someone else cook it for me. Until the pandemic. I actually spent more time in the kitchen and have learned to love and appreciate the homemade even when I am the one doing the preparation.
I even went as far as to request a certain type of blender for Mother’s Day! You know you’re finally grown up when you get excited about a blender for a present. 🙂
So, even if you haven’t been a fan of preparing homemade meals yourself, perhaps this past year and a half has helped change your perspective a bit. Or maybe not. Maybe you can just appreciate the thought and enjoy the homemade when it’s made by someone else.

Thanks Jen. I happened to see that same quote on a sign in a craft store over the weekend and couldn’t help but smile.
Such a fab card! I love your choice of images and colours. Thanks for joining us at FMS this week!
