Merry Christmas Grumpy

Do you know anyone who gets a little grumpy when thinking about Christmas? Maybe instead of experiencing joy, gratitude, and the magic of the season, they only focus on the work and mess. Maybe the cheer around them just makes them feel even worse. If that’s the case, this card is for them. Merry Christmas Grumpy!

Know somebody who gets extra grumpy around Christmas? Maybe they’re really just sad and it comes across as grumpiness. So, make it your mission this Christmas season to help them experience the joy and wonder of the season. Take them cookies and/or a Christmas meal. Sit with them. Listen. Let them share their memories and then help the create amazing new ones. Share a candy cane and why it’s shape reminds you of the Christmas story. Most of all, share a smile and a cheerful greeting no matter what you get in return.

Want to use the non-Christmas stamp set you have to make your Christmas cards? I want to help you turn your crafting stress into success. Add Christmas colors, and a strip of Christmas patterned paper and any stamp can make a Christmas card. Of course, adding a Santa hat doesn’t hurt. That can make anyone feel the Christmas spirit–even if they don’t look like it.

Making a Christmas Card

  • Add a strip of Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper with candy canes all over it.
  • Choose a coordinating card base. Red brings focus to the candy canes and Santa Hat.
  • Stamp a Santa Hat on the grumpy pea.
  • Add a Sentiment label with a Christmas sentiment.

Grumpy or not, Santa is still watching you. Check the box on the inside of the card to tell if you’re naughty or nice.
