Little Monkey Love

Do you have a little monkey in your life? Maybe it’s someone who loves monkeys, someone with the energy of a monkey, or just someone you affectionately call your little monkey. Well, it’s time to give that little monkey love.

How do you love a little monkey?

Play with them
Groom them (do their hair)
Hold them close
Help them dig in the dirt and climb trees
Give them a banana

What do you think? How would you love your little monkey? I think any of the above would work whether we’re talking about a monkey, an ape, or a human you call your little monkey.

Card Details

Do you like the look of background paper created with rows of stamped images, but think it looks too hard to create yourself? I want to turn your crafting stress into success. Check out the video to see how I was able to do that using a stamp positioning tool.

Squares make up the design of this card. It is a 4 1/4″ square card, with a 4″ square background layer and four 1 1/2″ squares on the top. Each square features a different monkey image with the final square housing the sentiment with a heart. Definitely representing little monkey love.

How was the background layer created with rows and rows of stamped bananas? Use Crushed Curry ink and cardstock to make a tone on tone background using a stamping platform to help keep them in even rows.

It looks like a couple of those playful monkeys got a couple of the bananas for themselves. Think they’re going to share?
