No White Paper?
We’ve talked about creating with the basics, but what happens when you don’t have one of the basics. What if you don’t even have white paper?
That was a challenge this week and it really got me to thinking. White paper is one of the most basic papercrafting products I always seem to have around. We buy white copy paper in cases, so I can’t really imagine being without. White cardstock . . .maybe, but white paper?
But what if one day there was no white paper to be found? What would you do? How would you make amazing paper creations?
Fortunately I’m not talking about having no paper at all, just no white paper. I think paper crafting might be impossible without any paper at all. 🙂
Creating with Colored Paper
No white paper means the need for colored paper. The good news is my favorite thing about Stampin’ Up! is their color coordination. So, creating without white paper does not scare me one bit.

Card Details
The creative process for the card began with the Hues of Happiness Suite.
First, a patterned paper was chosen to feature on the front of the card that had lots of different colored flowers.
Next, a matching light colored coordinating cardstock was chosen for the card base and strip of cardstock across the card front. A coordinating ink a shade darker than the cardstock was used for the sentiment.
Finally, coordinating flowers were diecut from the patterned paper to add an extra special touch both to the card front and the inside of the card.
No white paper? Don’t let color scare you. Create something stunningly beautiful with the colors at your disposal.
