On the Farm
The sign that tells me spring is really on the way is when animals start having their babies. On my drive to work a couple of decades ago, I used to drive by a couple of farms with rolling hills. I always knew it was spring when there were new babies on the farm.
It brightened my day to look and find them daily. I would watch them play and grow.
Where can you find signs of new life around you?
- Drive by a farm where you can see newborn baby animals?
- Do you live on a farm?
- Play with litters of kittens of puppies?
- Do you live by a hospital with a NICU that needs volunteers to love on and hold baby humans?
- Could you be an honorary grandparent or aunt/uncle for a new baby in your neighborhood?
Find new life and let it brighten your day.
Card Details
This is my favorite time of month, the beginning when I introduce a new featured stamp set. This month I am featuring On the Farm Stamp Set.
There is coordinating Designer Series Paper available during Sale-A-Bration. These rolling hills remind me of the farms full of animals I would see on my drive in Pennsylvania. I wanted to fill this card with lots of different farm animals, so I used all the animals that have stamps and matching dies on the coordinating On the Farm dies.
- Cow
- Sheep
- Pigs
- Chickens
What farm animals are you missing? There are dies for geese and a rabbit, but no matching stamps. What do you like to see on a farm?
