Purple Cow

Ever see a purple cow? Ever hear the poem about one? I couldn’t get this poem out of my head today.

I’ve never see a purple cow.
I never hope to see one.
But I can tell you anyhow.
I’d rather see than be one.

Inside of card with stamped purple cow

I’ve never seen a purple cow. But I was remembering a poem I loved as a little girl. So, I made a purple cow for my card. There’s a cow diecut on the front and a stamped cow on the inside.

What poems did you love as a child? What do you still have running through your head?

White card with farm scene patterned paper. Sentiment rectangle with green hill dies creating a frame and dies of farm scene, trees, barn, windmill, and purple cow.

The frame around the thank you sentiment was created using On the Farm dies. The sentiment rectangle is surrounded by rolling hills and trees with a barn, windmill, and purple cow.

What is your favorite element of the farm on this card?

Like you I have never seen a Purple cow….however, I have never heard that Poem either, but, in my younger days we used to call a Coke Float (Vanilla Ice Cream with Cola poured over the ice cream) a Purple Cow. So from experience, Purple Cows taste delicious! Super cute take on the colors and sketch challenge, so much fun! Thanks for joining us at CC&S.
