Stamps, Ink, and Paper

What do you need to start stamping for the very first time. Only three things: stamps, ink, and paper. You technically only need black ink and white paper. But, having color options for either your ink or your paper adds a lot of possibilities.

I love stamp sets made for scene building and story telling. Sometimes the sheer volume of options takes more time for me to narrow down my choices and make a final decision.

The new On the Farm Stamp Set has several different options for farm animals. That was not a hard choice for me. Pigs were definitely the featured animal for this card. Who doesn’t love a cute pink pig?

Which animal would you have chosen to feature?

  • Pigs
  • Cow
  • Sheep
  • Chickens

Card Details

This card uses only stamps, ink, and paper to build a scene. Do the rolling hills and barn remind you of anywhere you’ve been?

The masking technique was used to stamp the grass in front of the pigs and the hills behind. Then watercolor pencils and blender pens colored in the pigs. That is my favorite way to add simple color to an image.
