Silver Anniversary

Hard to believe today I celebrate my silver anniversary with my sweet husband. How is that possible? I don’t always even feel 25 yet, how can I have been married for 25 years?

The Paper Players weekly theme challenge couldn’t have been more perfect. Celebrating a special anniversary–really anything during a pandemic is a bit challenging. But, it does crank up those creative juices and there’s truly never a better time to really appreciate the simple things in life.

This card symbolizes the many anniversary trips we have taken over the years and more adventures to come. We may not be able to physically travel right now, but we can in our imagination and the map on the front of the card is to a place my husband would like to travel someday. I don’t know if you’ll ever get me on a cruise ship, so we may have to make a road trip through Canada and then a short flight to Alaska someday. 🙂

As I was completing this card, I noticed it was absent of anything silver to recognize the silver anniversary. So, I heat embossed the number 25 with silver embossing powder to make sure to add the recognition that the silver anniversary deserves.
