Simple Stamping with My Favorite Stamp Set

The challenge for the current SUO stamp set, is to create something with your favorite stamp set, current or retired.  The first challenge for me was to decide which is my favorite stamp set right now.  Mu favorite changes as seasons change, as new stamp sets are released, and my needs change.  But, right now, my favorite stamp set is Back on Your Feet.  I love those cute cartoony characters and feel much like them most days. I also love a good pun and these sentiments feel very punny to me.  J  I’m super excited that it returned in the 2021-2022 Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog.

I have found myself reaching for this stamp set multiple times recently.  It seems to me that most of us have at least the occasional day where we feel knocked off our feet, are tied in knots, or can do nothing but sign and lay around because even though we may have moved slowly in the past, it feels like we are now immobilized and can’t move at all.

Anybody else feel that way?

It has helped me get through these moments by creating cards to send to others who may be feeling the exact same way.  And the cute critters with their punny expressions can’t help but lift my spirits and make me smile.

I chose to make this a #simplestmping card using only stamps, ink, and paper.  Even creating simple card can make you smile and help give a smile to someone else.  Plus, if you love to colors, adding color to line art stamps with watercolor pencils, watercoloring, markers, or blender pens is a fun therapeutic experience as well.
