Slimline #simplestamping Thank You

When I saw the Paper Pumpkin challenge for the week, I was excited to think about a fall themed card. Originally, I tried stamping the leaves using a masking technique and a stamping block. I kept getting frustrated because I kept getting extra ink on the rubber edges of the stamp which would then transfer to the paper. I lost count of how many pieces of paper I threw away and had to start again.

Then, suddenly I remembered this remarkable tool I had stored in my desk–the Stamparatus!!! I pulled it out and used that with the stamp/hinge technique to create the row of leaves across the front of the card. The Stamparatus is such an amazing tool, I don’t know why I can’t remember to use my Stamparatus every time. It is absolutely amazing and such a useful tool for all kinds of different reasons. It only took one try to create a row of stamped leaves without having to throw even one piece of paper away.

This is a #simplestamping thank you card using only stamps, ink, and paper. I did add a few Brushed Metallic Dots to finish up the card and add a bit of bling

    1. Thanks Jen. I love that there are different sizes of leaves available in that stamp and die set. It provides so many possibilities.
