Swirling Hearts Xs and Os
The theme for the SUO Challenge this week is love. I was inspired by the Paper Craft Crew Challenge for this week along with the sketch for Case This Sketch 404. The inspiration picture for PCC409 really inspired the color of this card.
I wanted to make a black card with red details. I was able to create that using dies in Real Red cardstock. I also cut out the x’s and o’s from the card front layer and put some red cardstock behind them to peek out. I added the sentiment stamped in black on real red cardstock.
I didn’t want to add a white layer even on the inside. But, I did need to provide a place to write a message to the recipient and I don’t have a pen that will show up on black cardstock. So, I added some Real Red cardstock with additional heart dies to tie the inside to the outside.
