Take Time to Relax

Life is CRAZY and HARD.  If you want to survive, thrive, and be successful, you have to find time to relax.  You have to take care of your own soul so you can help take care of those around you.

What helps you relax?

Crafting to Relax

Crafting with no time deadline helps me relax.  Creativity can just flow from your brain, through your fingertips, and onto the paper.  Time to play with art and craft products with no looming deadline is both relaxing and helps creativity flow freely.

Taking a Break in Nature

Sometimes taking a break in nature can be relaxing.  Whether it is for a few minutes, days, or weeks taking time to let the beauty of nature wash over you while taking time to connect with God can be the most relaxing of all.

Can’t fit a vacation in your schedule?  Take a mini-break at home.  Go in your backyard, or the park down the street and just take time to breathe in the fresh air and thank God for the beauty that surrounds you.  Use that time to meditate, pray, breathe, and let go of your worries and fears.

Can’t Get to Nature

Live in a place where you can’t easily get to somewhere in nature?  Put a nature scene on your TV or computer or play nature sounds, close your eyes and imagine you are out in nature.  Bonus, there are no bugs in this situation.

Peach colored card base with beach scene. Sand and sea patterned paper, stenciled sun, and woman lookng at birds from the balcony holding a drink. Card says "Relax"

Does this card make you feel relaxed?

If you love the beach, probably so.

If you are afraid of the ocean, it probably has the opposite effect

Create your relaxing card in a place that is relaxing to you.  Then, put it where you can see it when you have a minute to relax, recharge, and refresh.

If the beach is not your relaxing place, check out these cards with other relaxing scenes.
