Thanksgiving Week
Christmas carols are playing on the radio, every store I go in has rows of Christmas themed items at the front, and the weather has taken a turn toward winter. But, I’m trying hard not to forget this is Thanksgiving week.
This is a time to focus on our blessings. Time to slow down, pay attention, and give thanks. Time to enjoy our family and friends and thank them for the blessing they bring to our lives. One last week to celebrate fall before the Christmas season is in full swing.
I am choosing to celebrate thanksgiving week. I am choosing to focus on gratitude. Please join me. Let me know how you are celebrating Thanksgiving week.
Card Details
Regardless of how the weather feels, Thanksgiving is still a fall holiday. This Thanksgiving card features fall leaves in lots of different formats.
- The Leaf Fall Embossing Folder creates a background of falling leaves. Color was added to some with a sponge dauber.
- There is a strip of patterned paper with fall leaves with color added.
- There is a kraft die cut leaf added to both the outside and inside of the cards.
The leaves carry on to the inside of the card as well. The weather outside may be frightful, but this is Thanksgiving week and we’re celebrating fall around here.

This embossed background is so pretty, I love the soft touches of colors, too. Thanks so much for playing along with us at CC&S this week.
Thanks Cecile. I love being able to sponge whatever color I need on black and white patterned paper or embossed images.
