The Best Part of Fall

What would you say is the best part of fall? What is your favorite? What do you look forward to each year?

I know for many it’s the whole idea of pumpkin spice season. Pumpkin spice choices show up in lots of stores and restaurants. Pumpkin pie is available almost everywhere.

While that is a great part of fall, it is not my favorite. I love the richly colored leaves. They don’t often stay on the trees long around here, but I love the look of colored leaves wherever they are: on the trees, flying through the air as they fall, or even in piles on the ground.

Now, if we can only keep the snow away long enough to enjoy those colorful leaves . . .

Card Details

The colorful leaves are on this card both in the patterned paper and embossed on the card front layer. The colors were added by using Blending Brushes with Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Old Olive.

There is also the nod to pumpkin with a die cut pumpkin framed on a gold metallic circle.
