The Colors of Music
This is my creation for SUO Challenge #287: Favorite Product from the July-December 2021 Stampin’ Up! catalog. My favorite product is the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder, but I couldn’t leave out my second favorite product–Angels of Peace Stamp Set.
I’ve never really thought of bright colors as Christmas card colors, but they are the colors of joyful music in my mind. And, I’m sure the music coming from the angel chorus that first Christmas night was the most joyful music ever heard.
So, we have a Christmas card made with bright Rainbow glimmer paper and 2021-2023 In Colors.. The bright rainbow glimmer paper was embossed and represents the sky full of music, while the sentiment flag shows something they could have sung. The angel is colored with Stampin’ Blends and Stampin’ Write Markers while her wings sparkle with Wink of Stella.
This card represents the color of joyful music to me. How about you?

I agree, the angelic music must be the MOST joyful and colorful, just like your pretty card! Your angel is sweet! Thanks for playing along with my Paper Players sketch this week!
Thanks LeAnne. I imagine the angelic music on that first Christmas night was the MOST joyful and nothing we can do can ever come close to expressing that much joy. But, I sure like to try.
Lovely sparkle and texture Angel, very pretty Christmas card. Thanks for sharing at Just Add Ink.
Thanks Nikki
A fun take on the challenge – and a fun colourful Christmas card too. Chantell Just Add Ink
Thanks Chantell
I’ve bever tried embossing glimmer paper before Angel – so clever! I love your bright musical panels – they definitely add to the feeling of joy. Thanks for playing along with us over at The Paper Players this week!
I had never tried embossing glimmer paper before either, but that rainbow glimmer paper was exactly what I wanted to use so I thought I’d just try it and see what happened. I’m sure glad it worked. 🙂
