Time for Fall

The calendar turned to September this week. Does that mean it’s time for fall? According to the calendar, it almost is. There are other signs of fall starting to peek out if you pay attention.

School buildings are full of kids learning.
Sounds of Friday night football fill the air
It’s not quite so sweltering as the sun goes down
There are Halloween costumes and decorations front and center in the stores

It must be time for fall. Which means it’s definitely time for me to start creating with my September featured stamp set–Hello Harvest.

Card Details

The first card with September’s featured stamp set, Hello Harvest features fall harvest. The pattern of the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper used for this card featured the produce and leaves of fall harvest. A 3″ x 5 3/8″ piece of that patterned paper runs down the middle of the card.

Then, a 1″ x 4 1/4″ piece of cardstock that matches the color of the card base lays on top of the patterned paper. The sentiment is stamped on this cardstock strip.

Finally, a pumpkin is stamped on Basic White in Cajun Craze. The ink is blended from the stamped lines into the center of the pumpkin with a Blender Pen and then the pumpkin is cut out with a die and added to the cardstock strip.
