Touches of Gold
Want to add some sparkle and elegance to your life? Try adding touches of gold.
Looking at the picture makes me wonder. Is there gold hidden in those hills? Deep inside the mountain, hiding away beneath the blanket of snow, is there a treasure to be found?
That’s often where you find gold in life (literal or figuratively). It’s not often just sitting in the open as you walk down the street or right in front of you as you sit on your couch.
You must do some digging and work to find this hidden treasure.
That’s why it’s precious and a treasure worth finding. It’s not out there for everyone to find easily. It requires digging, searching, and hard work. And, you don’t give up. If you don’t find gold on the first try or within the first five minutes, don’t give up. Keep working. Keep searching.
Sometimes we wish gold was easy to find. We wish it was as simple as touching something and it turns to gold. We’d like the Midas touch. But remember, that story does not have a happy ending. King Midas begged to have his “gift” taken away.
We don’t want everything we touch to turn to gold. Gold is a rare and precious treasure that we appreciate more when we remember what a rare and precious treasure it is.

Card Details
I want to help you turn your crafting stress into success. Want to add some sparkle and elegance to your card? Try adding touches of gold.
This card began to showcase the Beautiful Gallery DSP. The printed image framed by a piece of Country Woods DSP looks like a masterpiece hanging on the wall of an art gallery.
To make it even more special, touches of gold were added. What are those die cuts? Are they branches? Lightening strikes? They are the veins of gold running through pottery in the Kintsugi technique. Find them in the Inspiring Imperfections dies. When you look at these, think about them symbolizing the rare and precious element God uses as He repairs our cracks and broken places. We emerge stronger and more valuable than before.
Finally, the addition of the gold Flower Accents adds just that final touch of sparkle and elegance.
