This card needed to fit the theme for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #327: Under the Sea. How to make that happen? What elements say under the sea to you?

What’s on your list?

Blue card with patterned paper in blues and greens that looks like waves. Strip of textured blue paper at bottom of card front. Top rectangle has stamped whale with bubbles and sentiment that says "Whale Done." Opal rounds are added to card front.

Card Details

When I saw the theme for the Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #327, I knew I would be digging into retired products. There are no current products in my personal collection that represent under the sea.

The retired By the Bay Designer Series Paper perfectly represents the sea. That once piece of patterned paper with the multicolored swirling stripes looks like gentle waves in the ocean.

The strip of textured shimmer paper adds just the right amount of additional movement to the sea. The opal rounds look like additional bubbles in the water. It needs to make a grand home for the amazing whale stamp.
