Undersea Christmas

Here is the Christmas card using this month’s featured stamp set with Angel Stamps. I have had the thought of a Christmas tree shape created with ocean creatures and sea weed from the Whale Done stamp set. with a coral tree trunk.

I tried several different ways to build the Christmas tree from building the entire tree out of sea creatures stamped in a green ink, to building it with stamped sea weed adding sea creatures in the same colored ink and different colored ink. I finally settled on this design–the seaweed designer series paper creates the tree shape itself with added ocean animals punched or stamped and fussy cut out and added to the tree. There are even small fish stamped directly on the tree.

The elements I kept throughout all variations of this design were the coral tree trunk, and the star on top of the tree and Christmas sentiment from the For Unto Us Stamp Set coming soon in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog
