Valentine’s Day Already?
Can it really be time to think about Valentine’s Day already? The stores certainly think so. And I guess if we look at the calendar, it’s a little over a month away. So, the answer is yes, it really is time to think about Valentine’s Day already.
I’m not done thinking about Christmas. Am I the only one who still has Christmas cards to send? The New Year barely started and yet, Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it. Then St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Graduations, Father’s Day and on and on.
That’s only mentioning the big holidays coming up. Try to fit in personal celebrations–birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, etc. It’s enough to make your head spin.
Can life just slow down for a minute? How do we focus on the here and now without spending too much time looking into the future and what’s coming or fretting about what we missed getting done for past events? If you come up with the solution, let me know.
