Video: Cats and Dogs Birthday Card

The week’s Facebook LIVE featured the #simplestamping version of this design. This is the perfect card for a pet lover–either cats or dogs. If the recipient prefers one over the other, you could feature only cats or dogs on their card. But, if they are lovers of both, you could feature both cats and dogs.

For the #simplestamping card a citcle die from the patterned paper is adhered to the card base and a dog and a cat are fussy cut from the patterned paper and attached on the front.

Is it just me or does that cat remind you of Grumpy Cat?

Check out the video tutorial here:

For the stepped up version of this card design, layers were added to the card base. The circle was cut out of the top layers and two different types of Designer Series Paper layered underneath to represent both dogs and cats.

Fussy cut dogs and cats were added to the card front, and also to the layer on the card interior.

Which is your favorite? Dogs or cats? Which dog? Which cat? For the stepped up card, the dog is the grumpy one. 🙂

    1. Thanks Christy. I am definitely a dog lover myself, but I do love that you can use the same suite for the cat lovers in your life as well.
