Video: Tulip Fields Christmas Card

Every month I try to challenge myself to create a Christmas card using my featured stamp set of that month. Some months are more challenging than others. I really had to dive deep into my creative resources when thinking about a Christmas card for the Tulip Fields stamp set. Where I live, tulips are not blooming at Christmas.

So, you will see snow covered lines instead of blooming flowers.

As you will see in the video, I stamped an evergreen tree with the intent to cut it out and put it on the front of the card. But, after I cut it out, I decided it was too big for the scale of this card. So, you will find the only Christmas tree on this card is one stamped on the inside.

If you have a smaller, thinner evergreen tree stamp or die, you could add it to the front of this card.

I also learned that by attaching the blades with a brad that only goes through the windmill die and then attaching the die with dimensionals, the blades spin more freely.
