Christmas decorations are like a warm welcome. Seeing a decorated tree or sparkling lights in the distance makes you want to get a closer look. They are like an invitation to come and see. Get closer. This is for your enjoyment. They are like a welcome to all.

In the case of the Christmas decorations on the front of the Christmas card, they are a welcome to all, even the neighborhood deer. The sparkling decorations and Season’s Greeting sign seem to be saying, “Welcome. Come on in. Come closer. Enjoy the beauty. Come experience the season–hope, love, peace, and joy.”\

This card was created with the Just Add Ink 632 . . . Choose Two in mind. My original plan was to choose deer and trees. But who can create a Christmas card without a bit of sparkle?

This card ended up using all three. The deer are curious about the Christmas trees. Could it be Rudolph or one of his friends? Or are all deer drawn to decorated Christmas trees?

White craft ink added snow stamped on the ground and sponged falling through the sky and settled on the trees.

The Seasons Greeting sign welcoming one and all reminds me of my home town. As you drive down the highway entering town, you are welcomed with a Season’s Greeting sign lighting your way.
