You Did It Graduate

It’s hard for me to believe it is actually time to begin making papercrafting graduation items. But, I guess when the tassel arrives on your doorstep, announcements have been ordered, and a graduation party site has been reserved, it’s time to stop pretending it can’t possibly be time yet and start embracing this milestone.

Scrapbooking was my initial foray into the papercrafting world. And, although I’ve mostly set that aside for various reasons, when I saw the sketch for TGIF this week my mind instantly saw scrapbook page. Now, I generally fill my scrapbook pages with tons of pictures, but every now and then there is an occasion that deserves a page spotlighting one photo. I think graduation is one of those occasions.
I was ecstatic to remember Stampin’ Up! does carry tassels. What an appropriate graduation embellishment. And, I even happened to have a black tassel is my stash of supplies.
