Life becomes even more stressful when we’re spending day in day out in a location that is stressful. What can you do when you can’t get out to your happy place to reset your soul? What happens when your physical surroundings seem to be pressing in and making everything worse?
You go to your happy place. But, if you can’t travel there physically, you bring it to where you are. You day dream about where you long to be and you create the image of the place you are dreaming of in your mind.
This scene is not my personal happy place, but I know it is for some members of my family. This scene becomes my happy place if I am looking at it through the window of a warm, cozy cabin with a place for me to sit and create and drink some steaming hot chocolate or apple cider. What is your happy place?
