Father’s Day
Father’s Day. It’s not even May yet, why are we already thinking about Father’s Day and making Father’s Day cards?
- It will be here before you know it.
- There are so many other celebrations in May, it will get lost in the shuffle until it’s almost June
- Getting ahead of the game will help to relieve the stress of last minute procrastination
- The real reason, I already had the Trusty Tools bundle to make a Father’s Day card and my Mother’s Day bundle is not officially available until the new catalog goes live May 1
Regardless of the reason, it’s never too early to start thinking about and preparing for any holiday. The more preparation you do in advance, the more relaxed you will be on the holiday itself.
Card Details
Do you want to create fun techniques and embellishments on your cards, but you only have a paper trimmer and scissors? There are fun techniques you can create with only those tools. Watch the video below to see the twisted double ribbon technique. I want to turn your crafting stress into success.
Want to cut images from your patterned paper but don’t have a diecutting machine? You can use your scissors to cut them out.
A paper trimmer is the only tool you need to create the twisted double ribbon technique. It will help you cut cardstock mats with perfect 1/8″ differences to create your layered embellishment. The paper trimmer also has a scoring blade to create your score marks on your white paper to use as a guide when placing your patterned paper strips to create the double twisted ribbon technique.
The paper trimmer also cut the drawers open in the tool chest. Just make sure you don’t cut all the way to the edges of the paper.
