Baby Shark . . .

The sketch for this card was inspired by Global Design Project #288: CASE the Designer: Manuela Geiswinkler. I did not decide to make the baby shark the star of the card until I looked at the Tic Tac Toe challenge board for the week. When I saw that “cute critter” was one of the squares, I knew the baby shark would be the star of the show. Really, can anyone tell me this is not a cute critter. No matter how you feel about sharks, you have to admit this shark is a cutie.

I think dressing it in what I think looks like cute pink polka-dot pajamas makes it even cuter. I decided to feature most of the 2020-2022 In Colors on this card. I think the bright colors help make this more cartoony, fun, and perfect to welcome a new baby. Carrying the fun colored bubbles to the inside of the card makes the fun last even longer.

Sorry, not sorry, if this card gets a song stuck in your head. There are worse things you could be thinking about all day. 🙂
