Change Is Coming

Whether we like it or not, there is one thing we can count on: change. Change is coming. Sometimes things change for the better, sometimes for the worse, but no matter what, things will change.

So, what do we do? Roll with the punches. Embrace change and do the best we can with what we have.

Do you really want everything to stay the same? I don’t think so. Do you eat the same food every meal? Wear the same clothes every day? Same routine from morning to night? Doesn’t sound very interesting to me. There’s a reason no one wants to have an experience like the movie Groundhog Day.

We like change. We like things to be unique and different and even challenging.

Do you say you don’t like or want change? I’d like to challenge that. Do you eat different foods at different meals? How about wearing different clothing every day? Do you like getting new clothes to wear? What about a new haircut?

I think to some degree we all like a little bit of change. Living life where everything is exactly the same all the time sounds boring. It sounds a bit like a Dystopian novel about a society we definitely don’t want to be our reality. Change can be scary and challenging. But, change can be beautiful.

This card is a sneak peek of some of the fall themed products coming in the September-December 2023 Stampin’ Up! catalog next week. This card uses the Autumn Leaves Bundle along with the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper.

This card uses the sketch from SUO Challenges 334 with a little suprise. This is a fun fold card. It looks like a normal card. It even opens like a normal card. But there is a little surprise on the front. The rectangle of different patterned paper with the leaves and sentiment label attached at the bottom is more than just decoration.

That is a smaller card that opens to reveal a place to write a special message.

Not only does this card remind us that change can beautiful, it also lets us know that things are not always as they seem. They may hold a fun surprise with something extra special.
