The Colors of Fall

The colors of fall–my favorite thing about this season. And, something I get to enjoy in stores and up and down Main Streets everywhere for a few more days. The inspiration from the Paper Craft Crew Challenge this week made me think of looking out my window or back door at the fall inspiration outside my door. There aren’t a lot of fall leaves on the trees right now, but the neighborhood is decorated in fall colors.

To get the fall colors on these leaves, I tried something new. I used theStamparatus to stamp the leaf image twice, i to different shades of similar colors. Then, using a blender pen I pulled some of the color into the leaves before cutting them out using the Gathered Leaves dies. I’m pretty sure that at sometime during the fall I could look out my back door and see a similar scene.
